A little planning can make your cycling trip even more enjoyable: if you haven’t been on a longer cycling trip before, don’t take on too much and plan in shorter stages.

Plan using 10km per hour as your basis. This includes small breaks (50km = approx. 5 hours). This is how the time estimations on either side of the section are calculated.

Once you’ve got used to the conditions, you can manage 60-100km a day.

If you’re travelling with a group: make sure that the speed is comfortable for everyone involved, to ensure you avoid unnecessary stress.
