Cyclists on the Elbe Cycle Route should prepare for changes to traffic routing in the Dessau-Roßlau city area starting next week. As part of a joint project by the city and the local utility company (DVV), construction work will begin on Monday, February 23, 2026, in Antoinettenstraße.

Background: Redesign of the junction at Ferdinand-von-Schill-Straße and renewal of the road surface.

Important for Cyclists: While motor vehicle traffic will be diverted via Fritz-Hesse-Straße, a dedicated route for cyclists and pedestrians will be organized directly through the construction area.
Please follow the on-site signage and be mindful of pedestrians. These works are a necessary step in preparation for the upcoming construction of the roundabout at the Catholic Church starting in late summer.
