In Pülswerda near Torgau, the Landestalsperrenverwaltung (State Dam Administration) is carrying out long-term dyke construction measures for flood protection on the Elbe. As a result of the construction work, the Elbe Cycle Route between Graditz and Kathewitz is not passable. A diversion is signposted in both directions and leads from Graditz via Triestewitz to Kathewitz.
