The State Dam Authority of Saxony has started work on the reinforcement of the flood protection dyke between Grödel and Moritz (district of Meißen). Due to this construction work, the right-hand Elbe cycle path will be diverted in this area. The Grödeler Weg will also remain closed during the construction period.
The construction work is expected to last until 2026 and is aimed at improving flood safety. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
