There are just a few kilometres between Meißen and Dresden. The Elbe’s banks follow the river and the cycle path on both sides like a green ribbon. Vineyard walls, terraces and small vineyard cottages will accompany you to the gates of the Saxon capital of Dresden.

Meißen is the cradle of Saxony, and boasts an incredible Old Town that you absolutely have to see.
The garden city of Radebeul is nestled between the Elbe and the vineyards of the Saxon wine region.
Coswig/Sachsen is located on the Saxon wine trail between Dresden and Meißen. The town is perfect as a base for excursions to discover the surrounding nature.
A stop-off in Dresden is one of the best parts of cycling the Elberadweg.
